Visit Camera Obscura and the World of Illusions where seeing is not believing! We are very much pet friendly. Our exhibits are spread out over 6 floors and most floors have plenty of space, with a lovely rooftop terrace on the 6th. Dogs are even welcome to come into the Camera Obscura Show as long as the other visitors are comfortable, we just require that they be kept on a lead during their visit.

Forth Road Bridge
The Forth Road Bridge has a pedestrian path on both sides (note part of the path is a cycle path). You can therefore walk your dog (on a lead) across the bridge and take in the views. Parking is available at the bridge administration office (see map/directions below).
Paths are closed in high winds above 50mph. Also check the website (link below) to ensure the paths are not closed due to maintenance work.

Dogs and well behaved owners are welcome in Ice Factor. We allow dogs in the shop, café and bar. Note that dogs are not allowed in the climbing bays for their own safety and the safety of climbers. We ask that your dog is kept on a lead and are not covered in mud during his or her visit.

With over 130km of tracks to explore Whitelee Windfarm is the perfect place to walk your pooch. Come into the visitor centre and collect a map for walking routes and explore our interactive exhibition area. Dog walkers should follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code whilst on site.
Whilst dogs aren’t allowed in the visitor centre we have a decking area next to our café so you can grab a hot coffee, sit and watch the view and enjoy a well-earned rest, dog water bowls provided.”
