This is a Public House and everyone is welcome (as long as they are well behaved and respect other people’s personal space). We expect people who come to pubs to be good natured, well socialised and know that other customers may not be very tolerant of noise (screaming kids, barking dogs and drunk adults are a no no.)

Stopped in at this lovely community-owned dog friendly pub in the heart of the town. The pub’s signature dishes are hearty, wholesome pies in a wide variety of fillings, served with mash and peas – my venison, bacon and red wine pie was delicious. More hearty soups, stews and the like to be added to the menu in due course. The pub is homely and welcoming and well worth a visit if you find yourself in Berwick-upon-Tweed town centre (visited February 14, 2017).
