This place is great after a walk on the beach. Food is lovely and they are great with the dog, even if she is still soggy from her swim.
Booked a table in the dog friendly area of the bar for Mother’s Day Lunch. The inn dates from the 16th century and is reported to be the oldest Inn in Irvine – it did indeed have a cosy and authentic atmosphere. Lovely meal, well presented, tasty and very good value for money. The inn is very popular so if planning to visit the inn with a dog on any special dates such as Easter, Mother’s Day etc. it is advisable to book ahead to ensure you can get a table in the dog friendly area of the bar.
