Microchipping your dog

Although it is not yet compulsory (as at July 2013), a microchip is a permanent way to ensure your dog can be identified if it was ever lost. It can also be a way of proving ownership if there was ever a situation that someone found or took your dog and were claiming it as their own dog. It is a small capsule around the size of a grain of rice and is implanted just behind the shoulder blade.
