Steam Packet Inn, Whithorn

Isle of Whithorn, Newton Stewart DG8 8LL, UK. Tel: 01988 500334

This cosy dog friendly inn was an ideal place to stop in at for a meal, or a longer visit for sightseeing as dogs are welcome in the innโ€™s rooms. Great fresh seafood, as would be expected with the inn being located on coast. A good selection of real ales also on tap. Staff were welcoming.

Harbour Inn, Garlieston

18 South Crescent, Garlieston, DG8 8BQ. Tel: 01988 600685

Stopped in at this lovely characterful traditional coastal inn for Sunday lunch. Dogs are welcome throughout the Inn. The carvery lunch we had in the restaurant was very generous and good value. The dogs enjoyed their gravy bones from the staff. It is advisable to call ahead to book a table if planning to eat out at the inn at weekends as the carvery lunch tends to be very popular.
