Traditional family owned country hotel, pub & restaurant situated in Thornhill just outside Stirling, welcoming visitors in to warm up by our 3 log burning fires. Full of friendly locals, it is one of the few Free Houses left in Scotland, with reasonable prices on beer and food.

A big thumbs-up to the Lion & Unicorn in the small village of Thornhill (the Stirlingshire one) – very welcoming to dogs in the public bar (where they also serve food), lovely food, very friendly staff. Lots of friendly locals bring their dogs in too. Definitely recommend it for a visit !!
