Antos Cerea Treats
Now these come in the shape of either a toothbrush, crocodile or a hedgehog. If I see these in a pet shop I will always buy one for Bailie Dug (normally the toothbrush). The reason is mainly for comedy value. They aren’t really meant to be a long lasting treat however where Bailie is concerned it can take hours. He won’t eat it straight away. First, he will spend around half an hour searching for the perfect hiding place for it in the flat. However, no place in the flat is good enough and this combined with his poor burying skills make it farcical (especially the fact that there is no sand or dirt in the flat). It’s probably the only treat that he doesn’t eat straight away and for some reason his instinct is to bury it. The reason? Who knows. He does eventually eat it and it normally takes him about 20 mins this is after he has finally decided that it no longer requires any burying.
They are a cerea vegetable based treat with a low fat content (marketed as a health alternative treat). Cost is around a quid each and they are available from most pet shops.
